Odd Events

So my son was walking on water the other day, and I thought, "hmmm . . . maybe I should document this." Then Uncle Joe started reverting to toddler behavior, and I thought, "Yes . . . this is worth keeping track of."

Human Cannon Ball

Uncle Joe is here and life is getting exciting. Caleb believes Uncle Joe is the coolest guy on Earth--he won't even cry if Uncle Joe is around. The other day he fell on the stairs and bonked his head quite hard. He was sobbing as I packed him into the house but stopped immediately upon seeing Uncle Joe was standing there. Who says you have to teach, "tough guys don't cry." The little man has no pride issues at all :)

He Speaks!

We may be turning the corner with this little man's delayed speech. Over the past week he has said several different things. Here I catch him saying "hello", "bye-bye", and an attempt at "Amelie" three sylables no less (our good friend's daughter). Mixed in is a very interesting word in place of "baby" proving we still have a long way to go. Enjoy!
